keep wanting to update this blog but nothing really of note. i've been in FL the past few days enjoying some time off from school/poker and being with family. We've been going to various amusement parks (Universal and Busch Gardens), both pretty fun. (Though Universal is really great, highly recommended for anyone and friends). I've enjoyed roller coasters alot, though I was relatively late in my love for them (started them when I was in 7th grade). To those who want to go to a park with friends/gf/etc, go to Universal and Universal Islands of Adventure. Both are pretty great parks with a fair mix of fun shows, roller coasters, etc. here is one from cedar point that i quite enjoyed: (millennium force)-

the hulk is a great coaster...launches you 70 mph in a second or two and you come flying down. anyways, enough on roller coasters.

Florida itself is a pretty great state. for those who don't know, i grew up in gainesville, FL for 11 years and enjoyed it alot. it's definitely different than the other cities i've lived in (seattle, philly, omaha) but still very enjoyable. i like the weather alot (though summers are pretty sappy) and the beaches are always great. my family and i went to the beach today, here are some pics-

fun times. poker is going well, havent played a ton this month (big surprise) but still doing alright. been eating like a pig lately, havent been sticking with any diet/exercise much. i'm thinking about going on this rock climbing thing with my school in april, it's only $50 and an entire day...sounds fun enough. i'll have to think about this though. anyways, hope everyone is running well/living well.
